I've been working with another older kit from Rosey Posey, the kit called Fancy. And fancy it is! When I saw the preview of this kit with the rich pinks and vintage stuff I just had to have it!
This kit is so beautiful and elegant and you can use it in so many ways. For a vintage layout, for an ATC, it's good for both! You can get Fancy in Rosey Posey's shop at Scrapbookgraphics.
I always loved her kits! She has created so many nice altered kits and amazing overlays.
You only have until the end of this month to get her stuff. And it's all on sale!
Go check it out at Ruby's store at Plain Digital Wrapper!
Although I have lots of CT "work" to do, I found some time to create this ATC for a new week at Art Creations Friday. We had to work with an image of the little girl. I placed her at the end of a forest and she's walking to school.
I used Secret Dreams by Choubinette, Fairies in the Field 2 by Magical Reality Designs, Scene Setters No.1 and No.2 by SherrieJD (Scrapartist) and ATC overlays from Ruby Rynne (last weekend at Plain Digital Wrapper).

I'm normally not a cleanstyle scrapper, but with Templates vol.2 by Dot Design it's very easy to keep my page more empty! I combined the template with the wonderful mini kit A Moment by Miya J. I really love the color combination of this kit and the flowers are wonderful!
You can get it all at Matrioshki Scrap Design!
I'm working with some older kits from Rosey Posey. One of them is the beautiful kit Renew. The paper flowers are really nice and also the papers with the flowers already on them are wonderful! If you are not really a person that can make clusters, these papers are the perfect start!
You can get Rosey Posey's stuff at Scrapbookgraphics.

New and exclusive at Shabby Pickles: Paint Everywhere by Damayanti Studio!
The title says it all, the paint is everywhere! In the papers, in the elements and in the wordart!
I used a photo of a man we saw different times in Italy. The first time we saw him was in 2007 in Udine. There he was painting the Piazza della Libertà. And the photo on my layout is from 2009 in Cividale del Friuli. This time is was painting the Ponte del Diavolo (devil's bridge).
With the opening of Matrioshki I can finally show my layouts with the kits from the shop.
One of the kits is the beautiful Caramba, a little pirates kit by Sunny Scrap. The way she made her elements look like is really gorgeous. It's such a great kit to play around with!
Go check it out at Matrioshki! There is a lot on sale because of the grand opening!
There are some new paper collections by Paula Kesselring. Here I used Paper Collection 10, a wonderful vintage set! I combined it with other stuff from her: Photo Frames #1, Oldies #3, Old Paper Borders and Old Woody Alpha. It's all in Paula's shop at Scrapartist.

There are some kits on my wishlist for a long time. Today I was in a shopping mood and bought one of them: Charmes d'Antan by Paint The Moon Designs (Oscraps). Can you see why I wanted it? It's so wonderful with all the vintage things!
On the photo I used Glass Negatives by Christine Renee (Oscraps).

The new kit Cozy Cottage by Alexis Designs is so elegant! The colors are versatile (blue, green, creme, gold) so you can use it for many different photos. I started with a vintage photo of the grandparents of my mother in law and the green background paper. But for some reason I just had to add the modern dotted paper to it.
You can get this kit at Plain Digital Wrapper.
The grandfather of my husband loved to paint, so when I saw this kit Art in the Box by Paula Kesselring, I just had to have it! On the layout you see his last painting. We got it from him for our first house.
The kit is full with painting stuff, some fabulous papers and the 2 alphas (black and white) are so fun!
You can get this kit at Scrapartist.

Damayanti is Guest Designer at Shabby Pickle Designs and she designed the beautiful kit Optimistic exclusive for this shop! The kit is made in the basic colors blue, red and white with a touch of brown. The wordart in this kit is really wonderful and the elements are so fun to play with and make clusters! Overall a fun kit!

And another layout with a kit from Christine Honsinger (Fiddlette), Clarabelle's Collage World! In this kit you find a nice mix of different elements to make this an ideal kit for starters in this style of digital scrapbooking! You can get it at Scrapartist.
SherrieJD and Studio Tangie made lots of collabs together. One of them is the romantic kit Marie. It's so beautiful with the realistic flowers, but also the other elements are gorgeous! For this layout \I used a pink paper from this kit, but there is a nice choice of colors in this kit!
You can get it at Scrapartist.

As usual with a new kit of Veronica, the new kit Friends by Birth is so beautiful! And if you get the bundle it's also big! The colors of this kit are so nice, the browns and blues are working very well together! Besides papers and elements, you'll find so many extras, like quickpages, wordart and clusters!
The kit is in Veronica's shop at Scrapbookgraphics.
Lots of new stuff from Paula Kesselring in her shop at Scrapartist! New bright colored paper packs (Painted Border Papers, Doodled Borders Papers), paint splashes (Splish Splats) and what about that Brush Alpha!
On my layout I used all the new stuff with Spring Thing (doodles) and My Garden Stuff (fence).

Besides the fun kit Viva Frida, SherrieJD and Christine Honsinger (Fiddlette) have made a very romantic collab too! It's called Love of Jane. The whole kit has such a romantic look, very sweet tones of the papers and elements. It's really gorgeous! You can get it at Scrapartist.

I wanted to play with Viva Frida, a collab by Christine Honsinger (Fiddlette) and SherrieJD for a long time. Yesterday I finally got the kit and it didn't dissapoint me! It's such a fun and happy kit! Amazing colors! Just LOVE IT! Some of the houses are from Altered Houses by Christine Honsinger. Both kits are in the shop at Scrapartist.

I still have to scan most of our Wedding photos, but today I did 2 again. We had some difficulties to get the scanner working with Windows 7. Here I used one of the photos in combination with the Romantic Blues kit from Alexis Designs (at Plain Digital Wrapper). The clustering is made with only a few different elements, but I used them several times to get this result. There are some amazing papers in this kit and also the elements are wonderful and easy in use.
On my Art Journal Caravan Blog you can see an ATC that I did with Christine Honsigner's stuff, but here I wanted to show this normal sized layout. I used her wonderful kit Welcome to my Happy Place. This kit has great bright colors and really fun elements like the houses! The two dolls are from the set Flitter Sweets 4. It's all in Christine's shop at Scrapartist.

I'm really thinking about re-doing my Wedding album. The kits of Alexis Designs are just perfect for it!
My Wedding album is for the digital time. I made it in 2001. It's a wonderful album, but I think I can do so much nices pages in Photoshop.

New alpha's by Berna Datema at Scrapbookgraphics. There already was a blue alpha in this style and now you can choose between several different colors!
Here I used the Blanco version, in combination with the Spring Specials Evergreens vol. 1 (paper) and My Secret Herbarium elements.
It's all in Berna's shop at Scrapbookgraphics.
I've made a layout before with this wonderful kit, Revitalize, but now I made it in a totally different style.
It's a collab from Veronica Spriggs and Amanda Rockwell and you can see the difference between their papers and elements very well. But that's a good thing! Because the variety of what you can do with this kit is great!
You can get this kit in Veronica's shop at Scrapbookgraphics.
This one is made with the wonderful Shabby Starters ATC kit by Alexis Designs at Plain Digital Wrapper. Although the papers are 12x12" you can use them for an ATC too. And the variety of elements is really fun!
Another gorgeous kit of Alexis Designs is Sweet Victorian Violettes! I just love to make those flower clusters and this kit is perfect for it! I used a wedding photo of ourselves and now thinking about re-doing our Wedding album. I made it with real photos and papers in 2001. It was just before we got our first digital camera. So it would be lots of work to scan all our photos. But with what I can do now digitally I think it would be so much nicer!
You can get this beautiful kit at Plain Digital Wrapper.

For a challenge on the Dutch site I made this ATC. I used the following stuff:
Junk Yard by SherrieJD at Scrapartist (queen)
Call Thee Mine by SherrieJD at Scrapartist (cupid on the left)
Teal Time by SherrieJD at Scrapartist (knight on the right)
Green with Envy by SherrieJD at Scrapartist (background)
Brass Tack by SherrieJD at Scrapartist (lock and key pieces, I cut the key into 2 pieces)
Junque Journal by SherrieJD and Studio Tangie at Scrapartist (castle, stitching and labels made from an element)
Big Backs Overlays vol. 3 by Ruby Rynne at Plain Digital Wrapper
Since today I'm in the CT of Alexis Designs at Plain Digital Wrapper! I'm really excited about it, because she creates beautiful kits! The first kit I wanted to work with was Don't Eat the Daisies. It's because of those beautiful flowers! Just couldn't stop adding more and more flowers to my layout! And they really pop on the black paper. But in the kit there are also natural colored papers in creme and green tones.
Lots of new stuff by Paula Kesselring! An element set Oldies #3 and a wonderful Typewriter Alpha! It is all easy to mix with the other vintage stuff from Paula!
Here I used Oldies #1, Oldies #3, Paper Collection #4 and Typewriter Alpha. It's all in the shop at Scrapartist.
vrijdag 7 mei 2010
And another layout with the beautiful kit Classic Red by SherrieJD. Here I used the brown papers for the background. I added just a touch of red with the small paper pieces and the elements around the photo.
I really love the color combination in this kit! You can get it at Scrapartist.
Damayanti Studio is Guest Designer at Shabby Pickles Designs! And exclusive for this shop she created the wonderful kit Hacuna Matata! Summer, that's what this kit is! Great fresh Summer colors of the papers and elements!
New at Scrapartist: Classic Red by SherrieJD! Love the rich colors of this kit! The variety in papers is wonderful, red tones, browns, whites and also the elements have wonderful colors! I love the dotted ric-rac and the stamps! The frame is created with an element. I really love the swirl on top of it, so I used the element twice and turned the element upside down so I now also have that swirl below my photo too.
The alpha is Alpha Series 1, also by SherrieJD.

Besides digital scrapbooking my other hobby is photography. So the collab Capture the Moment by Kate Hadfield and Lili (The Lilipad shop) was on my wishlist for a while. But today I grabbed it and scrapped a photo of myself doing what I like, photograph!
On this photo I was still discovering my new camera, the Canon EOS 5DII. I got that from my husband in May 2009 for taking care of him after his motorbike accident.
And as you can see this kit is perfect for this kind of photos! I just love that little camera drawing and the photography related word strips and elements!

I love to travel, especially when we are going to Italy! These photos are from another year than my other layout. Never scrapped them before. But now, with Kate Hadfield's stuff it's so much fun to scrap the photos from the breaks at the gas stations on our way to Italy.
I used the same kits as my previous layout: Are we there Yet?, Going Places, Sunburst Alpha, Roadworks Alpha, Painted Pretties papers and the sun is from the new set Island Paradise.
It's all in the shop at The Lilypad.

New in the Scrapbookgraphics shop at last! Lulu's Egg Garden by Lorie Davison.
Lorie finished this kit a couple of months ago. She designed it for the March/April issue of Scrappons Digi magazine, "Le magazine du scrapbooking digital"!
But now it's in her shop. This kit is totally fun and in Lorie's unique style! If you love her designs, this kit will not dissapoint you!
